Paso Robles Pioneer Museum

Good forFamilies

The Geneseo schoolhouse standing outside tells you what this place is before you ever walk in. A one-room building donated by the Chandler family in 2004, originally 11 miles east of town, in use until 1962 — moved here whole. Inside, 20,000 square feet of Paso Robles history runs from prehistoric artifacts through early settlement, Western ranching heritage, and a dedicated exhibit on Ignacy Jan Paderewski, the Polish pianist and statesman who came to the area in the early 1900s for the mineral baths. A nonprofit, funded by donations.
