Glenwood Canyon Recreation Trail

The concrete path runs alongside the Colorado River through Glenwood Canyon for roughly 14 to 15 miles, connecting Glenwood Springs to the Dotsero area. The trail is rated easy in the westbound direction — mostly downhill — and moderate heading east. Rest areas with restrooms and picnic facilities appear at intervals along the route. The trail is open to cyclists, pedestrians, inline skaters, and anglers, and is wheelchair accessible. Shuttles from Glenwood Springs allow a one-way ride in the easier direction.
