The stretch of Old Hammond Highway between College Drive and Airline Highway is one of the most concentrated antiques and architectural salvage corridors in Louisiana. Warehouses hold plantation-era furniture, cypress mantels, wrought iron, Depression glass — much of it pulled from demolition sites across the Gulf South. The dealers know where things came from.
