A log cabin on Hendersonville Road, built in 1939 by Clementine Douglas as a craft market and schoolhouse for the weaving women of the surrounding mountains — a dogtrot connecting the main cabin to a dedicated loom room. It ran until 1948, giving women whose weaving had no other market a place to teach, work, and sell. NRHP-listed, restored in 1998.
